Who Teaches This Program

Hayden Featherby brings 18 years of corporate finance experience to this course, including roles at mid-sized manufacturing companies and financial consulting firms across regional Australia.

I spent most of my career helping businesses understand their financial position during growth phases and difficult periods. That practical experience shapes how I approach teaching—focusing on what actually matters when you're making decisions with real consequences.

Teaching Approach

I prefer working through actual financial statements rather than simplified examples. We'll use anonymized data from real companies, including some that faced challenges and how they responded.

Class Format

Each session includes concept review followed by hands-on analysis. You'll work independently and in small groups, with time for questions about your specific situations.

Previous participants have included business owners, financial analysts, and managers moving into roles with budget responsibility. The mix of experience levels usually leads to interesting discussions.
